Partners in Service

Wholly owned by the City of Coquitlam, QNet provides dark fibre connections from our colocation centre at City Hall directly to major local businesses and MDU (multi-dwelling unit) properties within 1000 meters of the existing 60 km fibre-optic infrastructure. Once an authorized client identifies a property for fibre connection, QNet assists the service provider with signing the necessary access agreements for final civil construction, in-building network connection, and service delivery to the residential MDU or commercial property.

QNet does not supply or compete in the delivery of application services to residential and commercial clients. For any service provider interested in expanding their reach in the Coquitlam region, QNet is an ideal partner for FTTP delivery of your services, including:

QNet client dark fibre lease

QNet provides low-cost, long-term dark fibre leases and communications colocation space to help Telecommunication Service Providers (TSPs) interface their services with Coquitlam’s optical network. Additionally, QNet builds and maintains the fibre connecting the backbone network directly to the customer’s premises—a true FTTP service solution.
